Music

As well as being a writer, I play saxophone, clarinet and piano as well as some ukulele, melodica and guitar.

I am an accredited clarinet and saxophone teacher for the Derby and Derbyshire Music Partnership with experience of teaching in both primary and secondary schools. I have also been working in schools supporting Wider Opportunities (now called Classroom Instrumental Learning) sessions in clarinet, flute, ukulele, steel pans, samba and djembe.

I was a founder member of Equinox and played tenor and alto on their first recording, Partial Eclipse.
