Music

As well as being a writer, I play saxophone, clarinet and piano as well as some ukulele, melodica and guitar.

I have been providing bespoke saxophone lessons to students with or without the ability to read music, whatever their background, playing music of their choosing for over ten years. I currently teach clarinet in primary schools and I have experience of teaching saxophone in secondary schools. I have also been working in schools supporting Wider Opportunities sessions in clarinet, flute, ukulele, steel pans, samba and djembe.

I was a founder member of Equinox and played second tenor and alto on their first recording, Partial Eclipse.
